A former member of Customs, Central Excise & Service Tax Tribunal, Mr. V. K. Agrawal I.R.S., joined the Indian Customs & Excise Services in the year 1967 and held the posts of Commissioner, Commissioner (Appeals). After his superannuation, he is actively involved in law practice as an advocate and consultant in Excise, Customs and Service Tax matters since the year 2005. He topped the University in LL.B and LL.M and was awarded gold medals. He served as Chairman of Committee for Simplification of Excise Procedures and was awarded Certificate for “Distinguished record of service” on Republic Day, 1998 by the President of India.
